Halloween, braces and baby Daylan....

I was hoping that things would slow down after school started but it seems like we are busier and busier every day.  I can't even believe that Thanksgiving is just around the corner.  This time last year we had just moved into our new house and were decorating the nursery for Daylan...seems like only yesterday.

I'm looking forward to the end of December...I have 12 days off in a row.  WOO HOOO!!  Here are a few pics from Halloween and the first of November.  As always, sorry for being such a bad blogger.
Oh and I want to send a great big congrats out to my friend Katie in Las Vegas....I know you and Kevin are going to be great parents. :)

Still lovin his little lamb swing....

So, ever since Daylan was about 3 weeks old he has loved being in his swing. We have his swing in our room, in front of our closet, at the foot of our bed right next to the stereo. Ever since he was a little guy, he has loved country music so of course we always have our radio station tuned to KRKT. Whenever he is crabby and restless, we put him in his little lamb swing, close the curtains and turn on the radio and he heads off to happy land. I think he can smell Cody and I in our room so it has always been soothing for him.

Here are a few pictures of baby D (most recent first) in his happy place :)

I'm a sucky blogger....

So I'm officially a sucky blogger...sorry folks! I haven't blogged in so long, but in my defense we have had so much going on since July it's really not my fault! That's what happens when you're the mom of 3 boys.

We have gone through a lot of changes this summer...probably one of the biggest changes is that Cody is no longer the Head Chef of Vault 244 in Albany. He was offered a position as the Executive Chef of the Corvallis Country Club and has been there for about 3 weeks now. It is a great move for our family as he has better hours, more money and also has medical benefits, which he hasn't had for about 20 years.
It is sooooo nice having him home early during the week and he gets so much more time with Daylan which is the most important!!

We have Taylor all registered for his Junior year at South Albany HS (my old stomping grounds), and Dorian is ready to rock his 5th grade year at Periwinkle. Daylan is growing and learning so much every day. It's so amazing to watch the wheels in his head turning trying to figure things out.

Here are some of our most recent pics...

So happy it's summer!

We have been so busy this summer with Cody putting out his new summer menu at the Vault, or running the boys from here to there....it's just been so busy this summer it's crazy! Tomorrow Taylor is going to working (woo hoo!!), Dorian is spending a few nights with his aunt Margie and family and mom aka Nannny, will be watching baby Daylan so Cody and I actually get to go on a nice, relaxing river float for the day. It will be so nice to just get away and not worry about work, or kids, just floatin and chillin with my hunny! Can't wait!!

I have been feeling a bit under the weather the past few weeks, and I have been having a lot of the symptoms of Cushing's Disease so I have an appointment with the Pituitary Clinic on July 3oth. They will be doing a full blood work-up as well as a MRI on my tumor in the morning and then early afternoon we will meet with Dr Fleseriu. Hopefully all of the results will be back so when we meet with the doc she will already have a game plan and get the ball rolling. I just want the tumor gone so I can return to life and start enjoying it...without the tumor!! I'm so thankful for my mom and dad for coming over and taking care of Daylan and Dorian for me when I was sick and couldn't do it myself! The boys are so lucky to have Nana!

Soooo anyway, here are some pics from the past month or so.....
